What Does Massage Mean To Me?

Why do I do what I do? This short video gives an overview of how I feel about being a massage therapist in north Shropshire, how I aim to help clients and how you may feel during a session of therapeutic massage.

How I Work

The massage in Shropshire I offer is client-centred. This means that I ask you what you need at the start of the session and we work together to find the treatment that will help you the most on that day.

I listen and respond to the body rather than carrying out a set routine. You can guide me during the session, or allow yourself to rest and let go. This short video gives an overview.

Skills and Qualifications

I have a Level 4 Diploma in massage, equivalent to the first year of a degree, including anatomy, physiology and pathology.

I complete at least 18 hours continuing professional development a year and have regular supervision with an advisor.

I am registered with professional association the Massage Training Institute, and am fully insured with Balens, specialist insurance brokers for the complementary therapy industry.
